Cardozo Society

The mission of the Cardozo Society of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix is to strengthen relationships among Jewish legal professionals through educational, social and community based activities.


Membership in the Cardozo Society is open to all Jewish lawyers, judges, law students and other legal professionals. Quarterly events provide members and other attendees an opportunity for networking, learning and community engagement. Cardozo Society Board Application


We are now accepting applications for the 2018 - 2019 Cardozo Board.


The Cardozo Board is looking for Jewish legal professionals who want to take a leadership role and help to plan exciting programs for the group.


Benefits to Board Membership


  • Board participation supports the Jewish legal community by contributing to impactful programming
  • Increased networking opportunities with high level lawyers and in-house counsel are available with Board involvement
  • There is potential for future leadership opportunities in the Jewish Federation and wider community


Board Membership Requirements


  • Board service is for a two year term
  • Time commitment is an average of one to two hours per month including attending quarterly Cardozo Board Meetings
  • Attend as many Cardozo events as possible
  • Serve as a Cardozo ambassador at all events you attend by welcoming newcomers, introducing them to others and sharing information about upcoming programs
  • Make a gift of at least $118 for every year of service to the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix’s Annual Campaign
