PLANNED GIVING & ENDOWMENTS:
Women’s Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE)

The Or L’Atid flame, attached to the Lion of Judah pin, signifies to the Jewish world a woman’s commitment to the continuation of Jewish life—a commitment that goes beyond her own generation, and beyond her children’s. Establishing a Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE) with the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix allows a woman currently making a gift of $5,000 or more to endow her annual campaign gift in perpetuity. Through simple, innovative steps, an endowed gift is within the reach of a Lion of Judah, regardless of her age or giving level (see “Ways to Establish a PACE/LOJE Fund”).

The strength and vitality of women’s giving continues through a LOJE— enabling women to leave a legacy to help create social justice, heal the sick, preserve human dignity, and provide Jewish education and Jewish growth for all.

Donors creating LOJE funds with a minimum contribution of $100,000 are recognized with a listing in our Federation Honor Roll and in the national Lion of Judah Honor Roll. Plus, she will also receive the Or L’Atid flame Lion of Judah pin. Donors creating LOJE funds with a minimum contribution of $200,000 are further recognized as a member of the Star of David Society.
