TEEN PROGRAMS IN ISRAEL
Once you have reached the age of 15, you are eligible to attend a peer group Israel Experience program. Click on the Israel Experience, Inc. at www.israelexperience.com, and a whole world will open for you.

ALEXANDER MUSS HIGH SCHOOL IN ISRAEL - 8 weeks
The ONLY academic adventure in Israel. Fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, offers:

  • Full high school & college credit 
  • Five sessions year round from which to choose
  • 16 tiyulim (field trips).

ELITE ACADEMY – go to High School in Israel on a full scholarship

The Elite Academy offers students exhibiting academic excellence full scholarships to complete their studies in Israel.  This successful program has been running for many years, mainly with youth from South America, South Africa and Eastern and Western Europe.  The program is now being expanded worldwide to include youth from North America. Participants retain their citizenship in the country of origin, and do not become Israeli citizens.

HAROLD & JEAN GROSSMAN
TEEN ISRAEL EXPERIENCE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Harold & Jean Grossman Teen Israel Experience Incentive Grant was made possible through a generous endowment established by the Grossman's to encourage Phoenix teens to participate in an Israel Experience Program of at least a three-week duration.  Phoenix area teens are eligible for the grants if they live in the area served by the Jewish Federation and are between 15 and 18 years of age.

To-date, the Fund has helped over 500 local teenagers visit Israel and encounter firsthand the everyday reality and eternal spirituality of the Jewish state.

There are numerous eligible programs available including:
o Teen Summer Programs
o High-school Academic Programs
o Volunteer Programs

Information about these trips can be obtained through the Israel Center or the Bureau of Jewish Education (BJE). An Israel Programs Fair, sponsored by the Federation and the BJE is also held every January.

Applications may be submitted to the Federation on a “rolling” basis and must be completed and submitted within two months of the scheduled departure of the applicant’s selected Israel Experience Program.
