The Israel Center is working to build and maintain the living bridge between the Jewish Community of Greater Phoenix and the State of Israel, highlighting its history and the people. The Israel Center serves as an educational resource in the community, bringing the culture and uniqueness of Israel to various events throughout the community. The Israel Center focuses on Israel related programming, promoting trips, and missions to Israel for all ages, and encouraging pro-Israel Advocacy (hasbra). The Israel Center is committed to the future of the Greater Phoenix Jewish community and is working to strengthen our younger generations’

  • Guest lecturers and Israeli speakers.
  • Independence Day celebrations, Yom Ha’Zikaron memorial services, concerts, music, arts, movies, and more.
  • Israeli counselors who teach and participate in local JCC summer camps.
  • Young Shaliach program.


  • Travel resources as well as short and long-term educational programs in Israel are available for youth, adults, and families.
  • MASA: numerous semester-long and year-long programs in Israel through the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI).
  • Taglit-Birthright Israel: 10 day, subsidized trip for 18-26 year olds.
  • Volunteer in Israel: volunteer experiences from 3 weeks to several months, in Israel though various programs.
  • "Gift of Israel" Savings Program: matching funds to help provide for teen Israel Experience Trips.
  • Aliyah: assistance with immigration to Israel.
  • Grossman Scholarship Fund: available for local teens (14-18) who participate in an approved educational program in Israel.


The "Tucson, Israel, Phoenix, Seattle" Partnership promotes people-to-people and community-to-community relationships with the citizens of our partner communities of Kiryat Malachi and Hof Ashkelon, in the southern most coast of Israel, bordering with the Gaza Strip.VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Become a part of the community dialogue about Israel by volunteering with the Israel Center. We are always looking for volunteers to serve on a committee dedicated to planning events and promoting Israeli education. Any and all initiatives related to Israel are welcome and encouraged.
